Fakhar Zaman OUT Of Champions Trophy 2025, Imam-ul-Haq IN: Pakistan’s opening batsman Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the Champions Trophy 2025 due to injury. He shared the news on his social media pages. The Pakistan Cricket Board has included Imam-ul-Haq in the team as his replacement.

During Pakistan’s match against New Zealand on Wednesday, Fakhar Zaman suffered an injury while fielding in the 2nd over of the match. As a result, he left the field for a while but returned after about half an hour to continue fielding. As a result, he was only able to bat after a 25-minute delay as per ICC rules.

Post-match scans revealed an oblique tear, meaning Fakhar will miss the India vs. Pakistan match in the 2025 Champions Trophy, as well as the rest of the tournament.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Technical Committee has approved Imam-ul-Haq as Fakhar Zaman’s replacement in the Pakistan squad.
